The newspapers are interested in the YERRF project
Yesterday morning, Jean-Yves Delage, reporter of the Charente Libre, and Joël Bideau, reporter of the Sudouest , came by La Giraudière to interview our international group of volunteers. The link of the article will be published in the blog as soon as it comes out in the newspapers and on the web.
The interview was about finding out the reasons behind each of of the volunteers coming to La Giraudière, what they would like to learn through this experience, what the YERRF project is about and what have we worked on until now and what the plan is for the future of the project.
YERRF is the name of the project started in July at La Giraudière and financed jointly by Les Amis De La Giraudiere and by the European Commission as an Erasmus+ EVS project. The main objective is to produce and then to introduce entrepreneurial workshops to young people that are about to start a professional journey after their formal education and to those who are currently unemployed. The workshops will welcome them here and guide them through their entrepreneurial path.
Normally the dissemination is carried out at the end of each project cycle, but we decided to promoting it before to increase young people’s awareness on entrepreneurship. We started with promotion in the web and in the local newspapers and we will continue with other medias and by participating at fairs, expositions and local markets. The first cycle of the project is going to end in December 2017 and the second cycle is going to start in 2018. You can read more at Project Yerrf
The journalists were very interested to know more about the YERRF project and about Erasmus, which is currently not very well-known in this area of France. We are pioneering EVS in Brossac and we hope to increase people’s awareness of this great opportunity to learn entrepreneurial skills.
