So it’s the start of our working week again as we all carry on with our given tasks. Marisela has been up in the computer room as she will be taking over emails, blogs and social media sites once Emily leaves. Marlou and Derrick started with cementing some of the floor of what will be the professional kitchen in the old house while Mark has been sawing away at his shutters. Paul has been helping John as he is working outside still; the grass seeds he planted last week have already started to shoot up! All this while Gayle prepared us a delicious lunch!
After work John, Marlou and the two Emilys headed down to the lake as the weather has been quite warm all day. Not warm enough though apparently as the water was quite chilly, yet we all still braved it and went for a swim. This made us very hungry so were very excited to get back to LG to the delicious smell of Gayle’s cooking – a beef stew with potatoes which was just what we needed after a good day’s work!
Afterwards we had a debate on what film we were going to watch for yet another film night; John wanted to go for the sad but good film Sophie’s Choice while the girls wanted to watch something a bit happier like Cabaret. In the end after Gayle’s suggestion we watched Paycheck starring Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman which we all enjoyed greatly before heading off to bed.
